GoldenDoobit ...... (Golden, Poodle, Rabbit, all in one!!)

Houston, I think we have a problem. I am pretty sure Bella is part rabbit. she sits squatted down on the ground on all four of her legs bent back with her nose on the ground and then leaps onto a toy to get it. Her newest game is she throws the tiny tennis ball for herself about a foot and a half in front of her and then leaps onto it like a rabbit. Here she is in her stance ready to prance onto the ball....

Today we had a lot of visitors, and Bella was such a superstar puppy and so sweet to them all. I was so proud of her. I was getting worried with her nipping phase, but everyone helped us teach her no and she was so good sweet to everyone.

Last night's sleep was horrific. We put her in the crate and turned out the lights around 11:30. She cried and whined and threw a fit. I laid on the floor close to her crate and made soft shushes to calm her down and she fell asleep after about 10 minutes. at 1:45 we woke up to a howling and barking puppy. It was very clear something was up, so Evan took her out. Sure enough she went to the bathroom and then of course cried again to get back in bed, but didn't take too long to hush back to sleep. Then she was up again howling at 5:45 and ready to start her day .... Evan and I took turns laying on the floor with her and then honestly just figured let her play on the floor of our room and we dozed in and out checking on her until we caved at abut 745 and went to the basement to play with her. We then went to brunch while she was having some crate time prior to our fun day of guests.
Around 1, Jan, Allison, and Lindsay came by to drop off a few things, see the house, and meet Miss Bella. Allison and Lindsay were both so good to her and were immediately on the floor playing with her and chasing her as she wanted to be chased, etc. Thanks, friends, we loved having you!
David and Carly came over for dinner and to meet and play with Bella and to watch our wedding video! We had a fun night together, and they also were so good to our little Bella!!!

Between our visitors, Miss Bella was worn out. We were on the floor playing with her, and apparently she decided she was really tired, while Evan was on his laptop so she plopped herself right between each of his feet and was out cold!

Clearly Miss Bella has had a really tiring day...... we just found her under the coffee table in the basement that we don't currently use, that sits behind the couch at the very back of the room in the basement. She went behind the couch and shimmied between the table that sits against it and the back of the couch, and picked a cubby hole and is now taking another nap! Clearly it is the table in the back of the room we don't use and keep her water bowl when she isn't using it and all our extra cords. She also apparently found the one place i missed on cleaning pre-puppy - I guess I never thought she would want to play inside the cubby holes of my old ikea coffee table :)
