Move In Day!!

I think it is fair to say that it is expected that I have not had time to blog in almost two entire months. Let's think of all the things that happened since then..... we moved into our house, we turned in keys to the old apartment, we had a broken AC unit, we packed, went to mobile, got married, went on our honeymoon, came back from honeymoon (to different cities than each other) and now are finally back in atlanta, and back to reality!!! So now it is time to catch up.....
We had our final walk through of the house two days before movers were scheduled to come in. We had several pint areas to be retouched and the contractor agreed that even some of them would need putty, etc, as they had missed covering some holes. This was complete, and it was move in day!!! The movers arrived as scheduled and all was pretty easy. We still have a fairly empty house, as we came from a two bedroom + storage unit into a fairly larger house. We have the furniture we had scattered among the house randomly and decided to wait to get new furniture after the wedding due to being tight on time, and want to be sure to take our time and pick out the furniture that works best for us and for long term!
The second day in the house, as I was upstairs unpacking boxes and trying to make sense of everything and get it "organized" before it was time to pack for the wedding, I realized it was quite "warm" in the house for it not being all that hot outside. Evan came home and agreed. Here we were spending the 2nd night in the house on the couch and floor in the basement. The basement stays pretty cool automatically, so thankfully we were able to get some sleep. The third day in the new house was spent hanging out with the AC guy. Thankfully it was "just" low on coolant, and since we are just moving into the house we don't know how slow the leak of coolant is. Knock on wood - a month later, it is still working up to par! :)
